SpaceX supplies different layers of American military and intelligence capability. Together they create dependence on one privately controlled company.

Falcon rockets carry civil, military and intelligence payloads. SpaceX also develops spacecraft and mission systems for government programmes.

Its filings show a private corporation embedded in the machinery of the American state. It launches government payloads, builds secure military networks, develops sensing and targeting systems, and constructs surveillance satellites for US intelligence. Consumer Starlink revenue matters. But it does not erase the company’s growing function as privately controlled military and intelligence infrastructure.
